Elementary students around Christina School District took part in the annual "Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day" — a special event that honors civil rights activist Ruby Bridges. Students not only walked in her honor but also learned about Ruby’s incredible story and the impact she made.

The Christina School District Board of Education is accepting applications from community members to fill the vacant Nominating District A seat through June 30, 2026. Interested candidates may submit a letter of interest and resume by 4:30 pm on January 23, 2026.
