The AVID elective is currently being offered to students in grades 6 through 12. Students must apply to be in the pathway using the application linked below.  Additionally, AVID is being implemented schoolwide in several of our elementary schools. The Ideal Christina School District AVID Elective Student

AVID is an elective college-preparatory program that prepares students to attend a four-year college upon high school graduation.

AVID Outside the Classroom

Students in AVID benefit from experiences that are not limited to the classroom setting. These experiences provide the students with opportunities to build leadership skills and to work together with their peers to develop skills for successful collaboration with their peers and others.
