Early Childhood & Elementary Schools Dress Code
The Christina School District Dress Code is a set of guidelines that outline the standards for student attire while attending school. The goal of this protocol is to promote a sense of community, reduce distractions, and create a more focused learning environment. Students shall dress in clothes that promote a safe and respectful learning environment, in alignment with the Christina School District Student Manual.
Enforcement
- Teachers and staff will monitor student adherence to the Student Dress Code expectations.
- Students found in violation of the policy will be reminded of the Dress Code expectations and may be given the opportunity to correct the violation.
- Repeated violations may result in disciplinary action as outlined in the Christina School District Student Manual.
The following dress code applies to Christina School District students attending early education centers or elementary schools in the Newark area, except for schools participating in the Uniform Dress Code.
