Select Elementary Schools (Uniforms)
The Christina School District Dress Code is a set of guidelines that outline the standards for student attire while attending school. The goal of this protocol is to promote a sense of community, reduce distractions, and create a more focused learning environment. Students shall dress in clothes that promote a safe and respectful learning environment, in alignment with the Christina School District Student Manual.
Enforcement
- Teachers and staff will monitor student adherence to the Student Dress Code expectations.
- Students found in violation of the policy will be reminded of the Dress Code expectations and may be given the opportunity to correct the violation.
- Repeated violations may result in disciplinary action as outlined in the Christina School District Student Manual.
Participating Elementary Schools
Select Christina elementary schools participate in the school uniform program. Students in participating schools are required to wear the designated school uniform during school hours, including when attending school-sponsored events or field trips, unless otherwise indicated by school administration. The following elementary schools participate in the school uniform program:
- The Bayard School (Grades 1-5)
- Albert H. Jones Elementary School (Grades K-5)
- Maurice Pritchett Sr. Academy (Grades 1-5)
- Jennie E. Smith Elementary School (Grades K-5)
Uniform Components
- Tops: Students may wear collared shirts in specific colors (See: Shirts).
- Bottoms: Students may wear khaki or navy pants, shorts, skirts, or jumpers.
- Footwear: Footwear must be worn at all times for safety reasons.
