Students in Foster Care
Christina School District is committed to ensuring educational stability for children in foster care.
Foster care is a system in which children who cannot live with their birth families for various reasons, such as abuse, neglect, or parental incapacity, are placed in the temporary care of specially trained individuals or families. Foster parents provide a stable and nurturing environment for the children until they can either be reunified with their birth families, placed with relatives, adopted, or transitioned into independent living if they're older.
