Technology Services
The Christina School District (CSD) has invested in a 1:1 technology initiative for students. The initiative will increase student access to technology and instruction in all learning environments, improve core skills, boost motivation and engagement, and foster the development of 21st-century skills through project development, research and communication.
It is critical that our students be technology literate as they work toward becoming college and career ready. Students will use their devices in and out of the classroom to engage with their teachers in synchronous and asynchronous instruction that includes but not limited to class assignments/activities, live video conferencing, social emotional learning, projects and research, assessments, and other instructional items necessary for the current educational environment (in-person or remote).

Damage, Loss or Theft
Students are expected to use reasonable care to ensure that the Chromebook is not damaged, stolen, or lost. In the event of damage the student/parent will be billed for the cost of the damage or the replacement cost of
the Chromebook.

Destiny is a totally web-based school library system that students and parents can access from any computer. Students, working through their librarian, can request a book from any library in the Christina School District and have it delivered to their school.

ClassDojo is a communication app used by our Elementary Schools for teachers and parents to connect. It allows teachers to share updates on student progress, behavior, and class activities.

ClassLink is an easy way for students to access all of the learning applications they use at school using a single username and password. ClassLink makes it easier for students to log on so that they have more time to learn and teachers have more time to teach.

WheresTheBus is a user-friendly school bus tracking system that will precisely identify where the student’s assigned bus is and when it will arrive at his/her assigned bus stop.

Remind is a school communication platform utilized by teachers in the Christina School District. The Remind app allows teachers to easily communicate with parents, guardians, and students over the age of 13.
