The Shue Strings is a performing ensemble of sixth, seventh and eight grade string players grouped in three classes. Students in the Symphonia (8th grade), Chamber Orchestra (7th grade) and Jump Start Strings (6th grade) work to advance performance and musicianship skills through sequential music learning activities and performances of varied repertoire. This year, members will present three programs as well as performances at school assemblies and special functions. The string ensembles may participate in performance trips, fundraisers and sessions with visiting artists. String Quartet class will be offered during Enrichment block.
