    •  Seniors – Are you interested in leaving your mark on NHS? Well here’s your chance.  You have the privledge of decorating a ceiling tile for their favorite teacher or staff member.  The cost is $5 to cover supplies.  If interested, please see Ms. Heitz.
    •  Seniors – Ball and Banquet tickets are on sale not through March 4th. The tickets are $35 each.  See Ms. Clarke or Ms. Henebry to purchase one.
    •  Juniors….Wanna have some fun? On Saturday, May 16th, your class and classmates will be traveling to Six Flags Great Adventure.  If interested, please see Ms. Johnson and Ms. Ritchie.  A small deposit will hold your space as all seats are on a first come first serve basis.
    •  Yearbooks are on sale for $60 or $77.50 for the yearbook and signature page. Please go to jostens.com and click on the yearbook tab.
    •  Prom tickets are on sale for juniors and seniors now until April 10th for $100 in the main office. You must have a completed and signed by parent or guardian prom contract at the time of ticket purchase.  Contracts can be found on the main office counter or in D211 with Ms. Ritchie.  Please note that the hours for prom is 6:30PM until 10:00PM and not 10:30PM, which is listed on the ticket. 

     

    Sports Center:

    • Anyone interested in playing tennis, please meet in C107 Monday, March 2nd at 2:15PM. The first outside practice will occur Tuesday, March 3rd.  More details to follow.
    •  Boys volleyball interest meeting today during activity block.

    • Congratulations to Junior Zeke Dawkins for placing 3rd in the 3200 meter run at Saturdays State indoor track championship.
    •  Final team softball meeting during GLA on Thursday, February 27th. All team members, please show.  It will be our last meeting before the softball season starts on Monday, March 2nd.

    Sports Center:

    • Congratulations to our Wrestling team. They finished 9th overall with M. Escobar winning 1st place 120lbs, Z. Roberson winning 1st place 170lbs, M. Manglass finished 4th, and M. rash finished at 8th
    •  Ice hockey won their 3rd consecutive state titles!

    • Key Club is selling Krispy Kreme donuts by the dozen. They can be purchased in forms of redeemable coupons or in person.  Each dozen box is $9.00.  To purchase a coupon or a box of donuts please see any Key Club member of Ms. Morales in C104 by February 7th
    • NHS theatre department is putting on the musical production of the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Come out and see who will spell their way to being champion of the bee.  It will be a great night out!  Production will be on February 6th, 7th, and 8th at 7PM Tickets will be sold at the door.  Students at $5 and adults at $10. 
    • 2020 Prom Committee will meet on Wednesday, February 5th during GLA in E108. Topics for prom will be discussed and voted on. 
    • We have been working on a clothes boutique in the main office. There are several new coats, hats, and gloves available if you need something.  If you would like to assist in setting up the clothes, please see Ms. Tobin to sign up for a time. 
    • Hiring Event – The US Census Bureau will be here accepting applications and offering jobs for upcoming US Census on February 5th during GLA. Applicants must me 18 years old or older. Questions see Mr. Schulte in E002.
