September is Attendance Awareness Month
As the 2024-2025 school year kicks off, it's the perfect time to focus on one crucial factor that can shape your child’s academic success: attendance. This year’s theme, “Be Present, Be Powerful,” emphasizes how important it is for students to be in school and engaged. When kids attend school regularly and on time, they not only grasp lessons more effectively but also build important relationships with teachers and classmates.
Parents and guardians, your role is essential in supporting your child’s education. Good attendance leads to better grades, higher test scores, and a greater likelihood of graduating. However, we understand that life can sometimes get in the way. If your child must miss a day, please communicate with the school office about their absence. Keeping us informed helps ensure accurate attendance records and allows us to support your child's learning. You can do this easily by visiting your child's school website, the district website, or by using this link: https://www.christinak12.org/attendance.
Thank you for your cooperation and commitment to making this school year successful. Together, let’s encourage our students to be present and powerful!
