Earlier this month, StudioJAED presented its vision for the Christina School District's 10-Year Facilities Master Plan at the June 2024 Board Meeting. Now, it's your turn to share your thoughts and concerns. Take a moment to review the ‘BIG’ ideas below and then share your feedback on how we can create the best possible learning environments for our students.
Take a Look at the “BIG” Ideas
- Convert Leasure Elementary into a PreK Center
- Replace Gauger-Cobbs Middle School with a New School (same location)
- Asset Protection & Building Improvements at Kirk Middle School
- Major Additions & Renovations at Shue-Medill Middle School (also includes demolishing a portion of SMMS)
- Building Improvements at All 3 High Schools
- Reduce Capacity at Glasgow High School & Relocate Some Students to Christiana & Newark High Schools
- Move Staff from Eden to the Administration Office (use more space at Glasgow High School for the Administration Office)
- Relocate Networks School to Glasgow High School
