The Test to Stay Protocol has been instituted by the Delaware Department of Health to minimize the disruptions to teaching and learning for students and staff who are identified as close contacts. Please see the Test to Stay letter to families - CITY Parent Letter and Suburban Parent Letter.
Our school nurses, led by Lead Nurse and District COVID Coordinator, Karen Kleinschmidt, will work collaboratively with the Delaware Department of Health, our community partners, The Life Health Center and the Quidel Corporation, to ensure that our unvaccinated students/staff, identified as close contacts, have been cleared with a negative COVID-19 test result before returning to school.
Our medical professionals will continue to work diligently with all students, families, and staff to ensure proper protocols are being followed. The health and wellness of our school communities remain our top priority.
