Christina School District is excited to announce the Leadership Academy (“the Academy”), a year-long professional learning experience developed in partnership with the Region 4 Comprehensive Center (R4CC) designed to prepare the next generation of school leaders.
The Academy is designed to strengthen the leadership capacity and skills of both teacher leaders and assistant principals who want to improve their current leadership and/or who aspire to other leadership positions in the district.
Academy topics include:
- Uncovering leadership strengths, core values, and exploring emotional intelligence
- Applying the Professional Standards for Educational Leaders (PSELs)
- Building a leadership team
- Making difficult decisions
- Engaging in courageous conversations
- Being an instructional leader… and more!
