Planning for Virtual Learning - 3-hour session (8/6/20 – NEW – ANGELA SOCORSO)
District office leadership (chiefs, coaches, curriculum directors, site coordinators) is invited to participate in a 3-hour overview webinar designed to inform district leadership and teacher leaders about the modules available from Research for Better Teacher (RBT). These modules will be available for teachers to help them deliver rich learning experiences to motivate and engage students and maximize their learning in both virtual and blended settings. This introductory session will share the structure and outline for the modules for teachers.
FOR SCHOOL LEADERS, TEACHERS, COACHES, LEAD MENTORS
Educators invited to register for the “Planning for Virtual Teaching” seminar (8/6/20 – NEW – ANGELA SOCORSO)
All educators (school leaders, teachers, coaches, and lead mentors) with an interest in learning how to effectively use both asynchronous and synchronous tools to help build the knowledge and skills, as well as the courage and conviction, to deliver the critical components of teaching and learning through a variety of mediums are invited to register for the “Planning for Virtual Teaching” seminar. This three-day seminar is designed to address the following topics: social-emotional development of classroom climate, planning decisions for well-structured lessons, formative assessment, criteria for success, and effective feedback. Participants will engage with expert presenters from Research for Better Teaching (RBT).
