Brennen is home to the Delaware Autism Program, catering to roughly 100 students from New Castle County. The age range of these students spans from 2 to 22 years. Additionally, the program supports another 300 students within classrooms situated in the traditional schools of the Christina School District. A renovation project costing $3.5 million has enhanced the school’s “Purple Path,” which is a preschool hallway designed for children up to 5 years old. Most classrooms accommodate only four or five students, ensuring that each individual receives the personalized attention necessary for their development.
