October 2024 - Grand-reopening of "Purple Path"

Brennen is home to the Delaware Autism Program, catering to roughly 100 students from New Castle County. The age range of these students spans from 2 to 22 years. Additionally, the program supports another 300 students within classrooms situated in the traditional schools of the Christina School District. A renovation project costing $3.5 million has enhanced the school’s “Purple Path,” which is a preschool hallway designed for children up to 5 years old. Most classrooms accommodate only four or five students, ensuring that each individual receives the personalized attention necessary for their development. The completion of the renovation project has improved conditions for the "Purple Path" hallway.  Read more!
