School Board Recognition Month

January gives Christina School District a unique opportunity to acknowledge a special group of volunteer elected officials in education. Our board members take their responsibility and the public trust very seriously, dedicating many hours to their work both in and outside of board meetings. Today, more than ever, our school board leaders are faced with the overwhelming charge of providing a safe, quality education at a time when health concerns weigh heavily on every decision.

Our board members come with diverse experiences and backgrounds, working together in the best interest of Christina’s students, parents, staff, and community. Through their service, Christina's board members participate in several regular activities, such as attending school functions, preparing for board meetings, reading financial reports, agendas, and proposals, and making a host of challenging decisions.

Take this opportunity to acknowledge our board members who make the time to share their voice and leadership about the future of Christina students.

Thank you for your service.
