Congratulations Class of 2022!

We want to make sure you know all of the details, so your big day is not only safe but also a success! We look forward to recognizing the achievements of our graduating seniors.

Ceremony Dates

  • June 9, 4 PM - DE Autism Program / Brennen School – Christiana High School Auditorium, 190 Salem Church Rd, Newark, DE
  • June 9, 6 PM - DE School for the Deaf (DSD) - DSD Auditorium, 630 E. Chestnut Hill Rd, Newark, DE
  • June 14, 7 PM - Newark High School – Bob Carpenter Center, 631 S. College Ave, Newark, DE
  • June 15, 7 PM - Glasgow High School – Bob Carpenter Center, 631 S. College Ave, Newark, DE
  • June 16, 7 PM - Christiana High School – Bob Carpenter Center, 631 S. College Ave, Newark, DE
  • June 17, 6 PM - Christina Adult Education & Literacy Program / Groves Adult Education – Glasgow High School Auditorium, 1901 S. College Ave, Newark, DE

Entrance Requirements for Events at the Bob Carpenter Center

  • Tickets Required. All attendees must have a ticket to attend. Each graduate will receive ten (10) tickets to provide to family and friends.  UD has a no re-entry policy. Once your ticket is scanned, you will not be able to re-enter if you leave the arena. Doors open at 6 PM.
  • *Update* COVID-19 Screening No Longer Required.  Due to recent policy changes at the University of Delaware, the UD Health screening is no longer required to attend the commencement ceremonies at the Bob Carpenter Center.
  • Concessions: Concessions will be available during all ceremonies at the Bob Carpenter Center. Outside food and drink are not allowed.
  • *Update* Face Masks: Face masks are not required but are recommended.
  • Prohibited Items: To help make the ceremony enjoyable for all, the following items are not allowed: No helium balloons. No outside food or beverages. No air horns, cowbells or noisemakers. No signs. These items will be confiscated and will NOT be returned.
