Christiana High Receives Superior Performance at New Castle County Band Festival

On the evening of November 12th, the Christiana High School Marching Band performed their best show of the season. The band received an overall rating of superior, which is the highest rating given at the festival. This is the 12th year that the CHS Marching Band received a superior rating at the New Castle County Band Festival. “I am particularly proud of this band”, said Mr. Dombchik, “We have many new members in the CHS Marching Band, so it made it even more special knowing that this band had to work really hard to pull off the level of performance they did on Saturday night. The students were really excited when they came off the field.” The crowd was cheering during the entire percussion feature/closer and they were clapping along with the CHS Band during the encore. It is a performance that every member of the Viking Band will remember for years to come. The CHS band parents and marching staff are proud of your accomplishments. Congratulations on another great season!
