New Video Series: This Is Where I Belong #ChristinaStrong
Exciting news! Today Christina School District (CSD) is pleased to present a new video series, “This Is Where I Belong #ChristinaStrong,” produced in-house by our students. The series will feature students across all grade bands sharing their individual experiences in Christina School District. In addition, this video series will highlight CSD programs and resources which provide a space for students to connect and build positive relationships. Our first video is a feature of students who are part of the Christiana High School Band and McVey Elementary music class.
Students enrolled in the CommunicationTechnology 3 and 4 classes at Newark High School have been working diligently with their teacher, Mr. Ryan Salandria, to film and produce meaningful stories of students, what makes them feel unique and how they discover their place in Christina School District.
“As I look back along my musical journey through the Christina School District, I note all the good the department has done for me when it comes to the lasting friendships I have made and how the teachers I met have helped me grow in ways I would not have thought possible otherwise,” said Tomiwa DaSilva, a student at Christiana High School.
The content of the videos is student‐driven and meant to reflect and engage in various topics. Check our website for additional videos in this series to be released each month.
