Jennifer Beyer always imagined herself becoming a teacher. From a very young age, she took great pleasure in seeing others learn something new or succeed in something they thought to be too difficult. She would ask her siblings to play school and would take them on outdoor "field trips" to the park or the backyard. She would even encourage them to share their favorite memories during circle time. In high school, she participated in a teaching program where she had the opportunity to teach science lessons to incoming freshmen. As a teacher at Maclary, she focuses on building strong relationships with her students and helping them learn persistence and perseverance.
