In December 2021, Gauger-Cobbs Middle School's very own Gail Morris, Computer Science & Business Education Teacher, was the recipient of the 7th Annual Delaware STEM Educator Award for Middle Schools. The award was sponsored by the Delaware Foundation for Science and Mathematics Education (DFSME), the Delaware STEM Council educator awards and Ashland, Inc.

Delaware STEM Educator Award for Middle Schools

The Delaware STEM Educator Award for Middle Schools is given to educators who demonstrate innovation and excellence through teaching, academic collaboration and student engagement. This award was based on the establishment of my after-school club called Co-Botics and all the STEAM and computer science activities and opportunities that the students have by participating in the club.
