In 2020, Gauger-Cobbs Middle School received three awards for their outstanding performance. Gauger-Cobbs Middle School represented Delaware at the National Technology Student Association's (TSA) Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) conference. Gauger students participated in competitions focused on advanced technology and leadership, including areas such as computer-aided design, dragster design, engineering innovations, leadership strategies, prototype manufacturing, medical technology, on-demand video production, promotional graphics, structural engineering, system control technology, video game design, robotics, website design, and various other fields.
