Hello family and friends of McVey Elementary School. I am Kye Bryant Sr., your new Guidance Counselor. I have been working in education for 8 years, 4 years as an Instructional Paraprofessional, 3 years as a Math Teacher and now my first year as your School Counselor. I received my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Wilmington University.  

I am married and with 4 children, 1 college freshman, 1 high school junior, 1 kindergartener and 1 pre-kindergartener. I am originally from Philadelphia, PA and have been a resident of Delaware for 17 years. I serve 8 years in the Army as a PLL Clerk and Food Inspector and finish with the rank of Sergeant.
