The Christina School District is bursting with pride as three of our school nurses have been recognized for their outstanding contributions to the field of nursing. Michelle Gayeski (Networks School for Employability Skills), Susan Webber (Newark High School and co-lead district lead), and Gina Wedel (Marshall Elementary School) were nominated by their peers for the top nurse in ambulatory care, with Susan Webber taking top honors as the category winner.

Featured in the May issue of Delaware Today, these remarkable nurses were also formally recognized at the 12th annual Excellence in Nursing event on May 9th. This esteemed event celebrates the excellence and commitment of nurses who have made a significant impact in their profession.

Please join us in congratulating Gina, Michelle, and Susan on this outstanding achievement. Their hard work and dedication to our students' health and well-being are truly deserving of this recognition. We are proud to have them as part of our Christina School District team!
