Are transportation and child care services provided?
We currently do not provide child care services at any of our locations. Please click HERE to access one of our partners (ACCESS CARE) who specializes in locating child care facilities as well as financial support.
On the other hand, we do provide transportation support via DART Passes. All of our sites are located along DART routes. Passes and route information are provided upon confirmation of need. Please contact our main office for more information at 302-722-2638.

How do I get a copy of my High School transcript?
- You can go to your HS and fill out a request for transcript.
- If you cannot go to your school, you will fill out a page when you register.

How long will it take?
You will be in classes where you will work at your own pace. When you are able to complete the program depends on many factors including but not limited to:
- How many credit you have already earned
- How often you attend class
- How motivated you are
- How much information you already know.

How do I sign up for high school diploma classes (James H. Groves Adult High School)?
- You must be at least 16 years old to register.
- If you are under 18, you must be withdrawn from high school.
- You need a signed transcript in a sealed envelope when you come for orientation.
- Most credits from previous high schools will transfer.
- Plan to attend an orientation where you will fill out paperwork and take the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE).
- Your TABE scores must reflect at least a 9th grade level to qualify for credit-bearing course. If they do not, you may attend our ABE program until your skills reach 9th grade.
- Attend a meeting with your counselor (usually the next day) to discuss your scores and courses you can take.

When do classes start?
Classes start in September. Orientations are given once a month.

How do I sign up for GED classes?
- You must be at least 16 years old to register.

What time are classes?
Classes are held Monday through Thursday evenings.

- CCC 9:00am-12:00pm
- NCCLC 9:00am-1:00pm & Tuesday & Wednesday 6:00pm-9:00pm
- Stubbs Family Literacy / Stubbs Early Education Center 9:00am-1:00pm
