What a treat it was to have a visit from our local fire department—Newark Aetna Hose, Hook & Ladder Company No. 9! Firefighters shared important fire safety tips and gave students an up-close look at their gear and equipment. Our Bruins loved learning how to stay safe while exploring the fire truck and meeting our community heroes. A big thank-you to Ladder 9 for an exciting and educational visit!
