Welcome to Keene Elementary School, home of the Koalas!  I am Mrs. Mariellen Taraboletti, the Principal of Keene Elementary School.  Whether you are a current student or family, prospective student or family, or someone who is just interested in gathering information, we welcome you!  Keene offers academic and extracurricular programs to our community, such as Advanced Academics, Mentoring, Student Council, Running Club, and many more. All students participate in field trips and activities which extend and reinforce concepts and skills taught in the classroom. Keene has been the recipient of the Positive Behavior Support Award, 2011 Superstars in Education Award, 2012 Recognition School, 2013 School of Continued Excellence,  and the 2017 Recognition School Award.  We have also been recognized in various Phases of Positive Behavior Support from 2011 to present. Students take great pride in our school activities, such as Family Fun Night, 1000 Book Challenge, Math/Reading Nights, Disney Day and others!

 

Parents and the community are encouraged to be an active presence in our school.  We invite you to volunteer in our classrooms, join committees, and lend your talents as a mentor.

We have an open-door policy and look forward to working collaboratively with you to ensure the growth and success of all of our students.
