Floralworks

    Students in Floralworks are taught the basics of theory and techniques currently practiced in the floral industry. Students explore the principles of floral design as well as the care and handling of flowers and plants, as well as tools, materials and business practices. Hand-crafted stationary and gifts are uniquely designed by the students.  Worldwide ordering and shipping is available through BloomNet®   While in the FLORALworks enterprise area , the students are also members of the National FFA Organization and through their participation, students develop their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success.  Products such as corsages, silk and live floral arrangements, and foliage plant items that meet industry standards will be constructed, as well as seasonal gift items and greeting cards.  Employability skills are embedded throughout the course content.
