Yes, Sarah Pyle Academy does offer Driver Education!  There is one class in the fall semester and again one more class in the spring semester.  All classes are held on zoom/online except for the final exam. The final exam is held in person at our Sarah Pyle Newark location!

 

To sign up for the class you MUST...

1) be either 16 or 17 years old

2) be 18 or older only if you have an IEP

3) have all 9th grade courses completed and promoted to 10th grade

4) be academically eligible based on the marking period prior to taking the course (that could mean we're looking at your previous school's grades)

5) remain in the green zone once at SPA and registered for the course

 

You are NOT eligible if...

1) you are 18 or over with NO IEP

2) have already taken the course and received a final grade

3) you have not completed all 9th grade credits
