1:1 Technology Initiative
The Christina School District has invested in a 1:1 technology initiative for students in grades 6 – 9. The initiative is meant to increase student access to technology, improve writing skills, boost motivation and engagement and foster the development of 21st-century skills through project development, research and communication. It is critical that our students be technology literate as they work toward becoming college and career ready. Students will use their devices in and out of the classroom to perform research, complete projects, submit assignments, and take assessments. Our plan is to add to each grade until eventually all students in grades 6-12 have a 1:1 device.
