    Dear Parents/Guardians,

Welcome to the Stubbs Early Education Center! We call our school the Beehive; home of the Bumblebees (our early scholars) and Beekeepers (our staff)! We are looking forward to engaging in an exciting time of learning for our children, families and school community. Even though we are starting our year virtually, with remote learning, we are always here for you, your child(ren), and family. We have a host of resources and services through our school and our Dual Generation Center to support your family’s success. These services include parent education/support groups, adult education/GED classes, social services, employment/job training, housing assistance, financial literacy, and more. We are unique in that we can educate you and your child(ren) at the same time!

We are ready to partner with you in giving your child(ren) the best possible start for this year and beyond. We need your support and involvement to make it happen. With your active participation, you will be amazed at the amount of learning you and your child(ren) will receive this year. At the Stubbs Early Education Center, we offer our students a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters learning and community building. We have a great combination of talented teachers and community partners with qualities that complement and bring out the best in all. We enjoy working together, sharing ideas, and helping students become early readers and learners for life.

At the Stubbs EEC, our teachers and staff will know their students and families; identifying strengths, challenges and passions while striving for a positive school experience and love of learning. We invite you to become an active participant in our school community through volunteering, joining our Family and Community Advisory Council, and attending and participating in our many school events. We welcome your involvement and seek to create strong home to school relationships.

Together, we will offer a welcoming, safe, and engaging learning community with high quality early education and adult/family support services where the progress and achievements of the students and families are celebrated. All children are more successful when we work as a team to achieve their goals.

We welcome you as our fellow Beekeepers, and look forward to having a successful year.

    Beehive Proud,

    Dr. Williams
