• Aspira is a leadership club for Latino youth, although our club is diverse and all students are welcome to come! We focus on developing leaders out of our Aspirantes by celebrating their diverse and unique culture thus giving them a sense of pride in their heritage. We plan and run International Day, which has become a fun yearly tradition here at CHS. We also help out in the community by participating in several volunteer activities like our favorite annual holiday food box distribution and more! We network with other Latino students as well as adults in the Latino community at the Latino Summit and other Aspira events. We collaborate to plan events like dances and end-of-year trips with other local Aspira Clubs. We teach students the importance of continuing their education and a Saturday Academy is offered for Aspirantes on Saturdays to help our students with the daunting process of applying to and getting accepted into college. We provide our students with many opportunities! We problem-solve and have fun! We are a family! ¡Somos familia!

Meeting Time: Wednesdays after school until 4pm in G 106 (Sra. Sevilla’s room)
