We are super excited to share some amazing news! Glasgow High School sophomore Danelly Perez Medina is about to make history this weekend. She will be the very first wrestler from Glasgow, male or female, to compete in the famous Beast of the East Tournament at the University of Delaware!

 

This tournament has been happening since 1993 and is one of the most prestigious high school wrestling events in the country. It has been held at the University of Delaware's Bob Carpenter Center since 1997 and is ranked among the top three in-season high school wrestling tournaments in the U.S., alongside the Walsh Jesuit Ironman and the Powerade Wrestling Tournament.

 

We are all so proud of you, Danelly! Good luck out there; we know you'll represent Glasgow like a champ!
