Assistant Principal's Message

  • To the Oberle Family,

It is with great pleasure that I write to you as the new Assistant Principal of William J. Oberle Elementary School.  Since my arrival, the staff and families have provided me a warm welcome into the “Oberle Family!”  I am truly thankful and honored to be part of a special place that cultivates the minds of our children to be the next generation of world leaders!

I come to Oberle with a passion to serve.  I have spent 29 years defending freedom, as an US Army Officer serving the people of this great nation and over 22 years of service (7 years as teacher and 16 years as an administrator) educating students in various levels of public school.  My educational career started in elementary school; however, most of my experience as a teacher and administrator has been at the secondary level.  I am looking forward to working with the professional staff at Oberle to develop me as an elementary administrator, teaching me the positive culture at Oberle as I provide my experience and direction as an educational leader.

I believe that all students deserve a solid educational foundation that encompasses the social, emotional, and cultural aspects for the whole-child.  As an educator, I will model the behaviors that I want to see in all of my students and place a high expectation for learning in Oberle classrooms.  I have a strong desire to develop students to be the best they can be!  My goal this year at Oberle Elementary School is to continue to develop the “TEAM” atmosphere that includes parents, community, staff, and administration that puts the needs of the student first!  I look forward to meet all of you and please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions, concerns, or ideas that you would like to share.

    Sincerely,

    Michael N. Scott

    Assistant Principal

    Oberle Elementary School.

    One Team…One Mission!
