Dear Leasure Elementary Community, 

It is with great enthusiasm and a deep sense of privilege that I introduce myself as the new principal of Leasure Elementary School. My name is Christine Getugi, and I am incredibly honored to join this exceptional community of learners, educators, and families. With over seventeen years of experience in education, I bring a strong commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and academically rigorous environment. Throughout my career and most of it in the Christina School District, I have been dedicated to ensuring that every student receives a high-quality education that meets their individual needs, celebrates their strengths, and nurtures their passions. 

As your principal, my foremost goal is to cultivate a school culture where every child feels valued, inspired, and empowered to reach their fullest potential. I believe in the importance of collaboration among teachers, parents, and the wider community to create a positive and enriching educational experience for our students. Together, we will work to uphold the values of respect, kindness, and academic excellence that are at the core of Leasure Elementary School. 

I am committed to maintaining open communication and transparency, and I encourage you to reach out to me with any questions, ideas, or concerns you may have. Building strong relationships with each of you is a priority for me, as I believe that our partnership is essential to the success of our students. I am eagerly looking forward to meeting each of you and embarking on this journey together.
