• Mabel BoutteA Message from Principal Boutte

My name is Mrs. Mabel Boutte and it is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that I introduce myself as the principal at Etta J. Wilson Elementary School. I am honored and humbled to be an important team member in this amazing school community.

Professionally, I have been an elementary educator for over twenty-eight years and have worked with students ranging from kindergarten through sixth grade. During my tenure, I spent over two decades as a classroom teacher where I taught various grade levels and in many capacities. Before coming to Wilson, I was the Assistant Principal at Jennie Smith Elementary School. I am thrilled to contribute my years of teaching and administrative experience to continue the tradition of excellence at Etta J. Wilson Elementary.

At Wilson, we believe that educating the whole child academically and socially while having a solid connection between home and school is vital to student success. You are an essential part of your student’s educational team and the Wilson community!

On a personal note, my mother was a Christina School District teacher, and there are four generations of educators in my family. When I am not at Etta J. Wilson, you might find me cooking, reading, or watching Judge Judy. I also enjoy listening to music and spending time with my husband and son.

I am very excited about the great things happening at Wilson Elementary. Please feel free to contact me via email (mabel.boutte@christina.k12.de.us) or phone (302-454-2180).

Thank you for all you do to strengthen our school community.

    Sincerely,

    Mrs. M. Boutte
