• Mabel BoutteA Message from Principal Boutte

Please allow me to welcome you to Wilson Elementary. My name is Mrs. Mabel Boutte, and it’s my pleasure to introduce myself as the principal of Etta J. Wilson Elementary School. I am truly honored to be a part of this wonderful school community.

With over thirty years as an elementary educator, I’ve taught students from kindergarten through sixth grade in various capacities. Before joining Wilson, I served as Assistant Principal at Jennie Smith Elementary School, bringing a wealth of teaching and administrative experience to our pursuit of excellence at Etta J. Wilson Elementary.

At Wilson, we firmly believe in nurturing every aspect of student development—academically, socially, and through solid home-school connections. You play a crucial role in your child’s education, and I am excited to work alongside you as we support our students together.

On a personal note, education runs deep in my family—my mother was a teacher in the Christina School District, and there are two generations of educators before me. When I’m not at Etta J. Wilson, I enjoy cooking, reading, and catching up on Judge Judy. I also cherish time spent with my family.

I am thrilled about the exciting opportunities ahead for Wilson Elementary. Please don’t hesitate to contact me via email at mabel.boutte@christina.k12.de.us or by phone at 302-454-2180.

Thank you for your dedication to strengthening our school community. Together, we can achieve great things for our students!
