Middle School Honors Academy
Welcome to the Middle School Honors Academy (MSHA) at Christiana High School, a rigorous middle school academic program for students in grades 6-8. The implementation of the Middle School Honors Academy creates a 6-12 grade Honors Academy option at Christiana High School.
Students applying to the program are required to complete an Honors Academy application and a Choice application form, and will be selected based on their application as well as their potential for success in a rigorous academic program in grades 6-12 that will include Honors courses, pre-Advanced Placement (AP) preparation, Advanced Placement classes, and college-level coursework.
The MSHA is located in the H-wing of Christiana High School, and Middle School Honors Academy students will take classes separate from high school students but will be able to take advantage of the many resources available in a high school setting.
