Clubs & Activities
-
Students in the Christina School District participate in dozens of clubs and student organizations. Some clubs are chapters of national organizations or activities, and students compete at the state, regional, and national levels. Other clubs are just for student enjoyment or provide a service to the community or school.

Capital One Coders Program
We are very excited to welcome the Capital One Coders Program to Thurgood Marshall Elementary!
In partnership with public schools and other youth-serving nonprofits, Coders helps students cultivate a greater interest in computer science during a critical period in their development.
Capital One associate volunteers guide students through problem solving, teamwork, and the basic principles of software development.
Rather than giving students answers to remember, we give them problems to solve. Through our hands-on experiential learning, students develop greater confidence in Computer Science as they explore technology through design thinking and coding.
The program is currently offered to 5th grade Marshall students.
