With a strong tradition of team sports and student involvement, our district offers numerous opportunities for students to explore their passions and develop their talents. Our high schools feature 17 varsity and junior varsity sports, while middle schools provide exciting options like soccer, basketball, cheerleading, and track.

Beyond athletics, students engage in a wide variety of clubs—ranging from competitive chapters of national organizations to fun and community-focused groups—ensuring that every student can find a place to grow, lead, and connect. The Christina School District is a proud member of the Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA) and strictly adheres to its athletic eligibility guidelines. We compete in the Blue Hen Conference and have a long-standing tradition of excellence in team sports.

Our high school athletics program offers 17 sports which include both junior varsity and varsity teams. At the middle school level, we offer boys and girls soccer, boys and girls basketball, girls cheerleading, and boys and girls track.

Athletic / Event Admission Guidelines

We are committed to creating a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience for all members of the Christina School District community.

To that point, the following admission guidelines are in effect for home athletic events. We will continue to monitor admission guidelines and make adjustments as necessary.

Guidelines - English

Christina School District uses MSB Tickets, an online ticketing system, for purchasing event tickets in advance.

When inviting family and friends, remember that ALL tickets must be purchased online. After purchase, you can either print your ticket or present the QR code on your mobile device at entry. No sign-in is required to use the ticket system.

Please note that this cashless ticket policy does not apply to concession stands, which will continue to accept cash payments at this time.

All tickets must be purchased online for football and basketball events.
Wrestling, swimming, and diving events do not require tickets at this time.
Tickets will no longer be sold at the door.

Clubs & Activities

Students in the Christina School District participate in dozens of clubs and student organizations. Some clubs are chapters of national organizations or activities, and students compete at the state, regional, and national levels. Other clubs are just for student enjoyment or provide a service to the community or school.
