The Christina School District Credit Recovery Program is a collaborative effort between the Christina Adult Education Program and the Office of Teaching and Learning. The program is open to students enrolled in grades 10-12 that require a second attempt at earning credit or recouping learning for a particular course due to obtaining a non-passing score on their first attempt.

How to Register
Students and/or their families should contact their school counselor immediately to discuss credit recovery options. Your school counselor will guide you on the best course of action based on the need of the individual student.

What format will instruction be delivered?
Each course will be delivered remotely via Zoom. Teachers will follow the instructional model below:

Will students be assigned homework?
Student’s will be assigned weekly homework assignments. Homework, as well as, other assessments will determine a student’s final grade.

How will student progress be tracked?
Student progress will be documented weekly (grades and attendance). Parents may contact the credit recovery teacher and/or school counselor in order to obtain student progress information.

What is the attendance policy?
A maximum of 2 absences excused and/or unexcused will be permitted. Additional absences will result in dismissal from the program. In addition, a maximum of 4 tardy excused and/or unexcused will be permitted. Additional tardiness will result in dismissal from the program. Upon return from absence, students must complete all assigned assignments.

Who will be providing instruction?
Staffing will consist of Christina Adult Education staff and/or Christina School District teachers.

How will credit be awarded?
Credit will be given based on the full completion of the enrolled course. A student will not receive credit if they only complete a portion of the course. Final grades will be reported at the end of each session to the student’s home school

Class Hours
Most classes will meet Monday - Thursday from 2:30 - 4:30PM. Some courses will meet twice per week during the same time.
