COVID-19 Testing
Christina School District encourages testing for those individuals who are not eligible for the vaccination, those currently eligible but not yet vaccinated, and those experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, regardless of vaccination status.

The Christina School District, in partnership with the Delaware Department of Education, Delaware Public Health, Quidel and Life Health Center, is pleased to offer rapid COVID-19 Testing programs for our students and staff to detect the presence of COVID-19.
Registered students and staff will participate in testing to detect the presence of COVID-19. Like a rapid strep test, these tests provide results in fifteen minutes. Watch the video for a demonstration on how the test is administered.
Students attending schools in the Newark Area should register with Quidel. Students attending schools in the Wilmington area should register with the Life Health Center.
- The TTS Program is closed.

Students, with an approved consent, will be tested weekly while at school. Testing will be provided and administered by Quidel. Testing will be completed in a matter of minutes using a nasal swab. The Christina School District began offering this service in January of 2021. We are excited to continue offering this mitigating strategy for the 2021-22 school year.
